In an age of significant medical evolution, is it really best to go back to basics and let Mother Nature take over when it comes to birthing? Yes, according to Alison Haasch, 37, owner of LifeSpring Midwifery, LLC, in San Tan Valley.
“Women’s bodies instinctively know what to do during a birth, and will perform perfectly if we help it instead of interfering,” says Haasch, whose philosophy is that birthing is a normal body process, not a medical event.
