Sales Tax across Pinal County is up half a cent

With the passing of Prop 417, the funding mechanism for the Pinal County Regional Transportation Authority, a half cent sales tax has been added to all transactions on items under $10,000 throughout Pinal County, including San Tan Valley. 

The sales tax increase went into effect April 1, 2018.

For those businesses in San Tan Valley the new sales tax rate is 7.2% which includes 5.6% state sales tax, 1.1% county sales tax and the new RTA sales tax of .50%.

If you are a business that used to be in San Tan Valley that has been recently annexed into Queen Creek, your sales tax will now be 9.45%.
